I really enjoyed my first project, although it exceeded the kit cost of £40 due to buying equipment and other essentials. This highlights the importance of preparing in advance, setting budgets and planning. I learnt essential skills such as soldering, stripping wires and some basic electronics. The project failed initially as I did not solder the wires correctly to the PCB. However, during my work experience at Wavetronix, they taught me how to solder correctly so the project worked in the end.
